Fall 2016

This fall I have taken more classes and have worked more on my own, as well.  It was great to be back with my friends and teacher in Caroline Graham's class at the Art League, and I have also been taking more classes at the Watercolor Art Society - Houston (WASH).  I took another class from Carla Gauthier on adding figures to paintings.

Below are five paintings from Carla Gauthier's workshop: Pouring Watercolors.  Paintings were created by pouring yellow, red, and blue watercolors over wet paper, and masking layers through successively darker pours to get a full range of color.  Very interesting technique and fun to experiment.
